FIL ROUGE
Fil Rouge explores the diverse identities within our human nature and the archetypes that shape our experiences. Seven performers dive into the sea of these social complexities and do so through the medium of choreography and theatre. Fil Rouge crafts a dynamic landscape of atmospheres and characters that materialize and dissolve seamlessly through movement, voice, objects, and light. The piece weaves together layers of the conscious and the subconscious, the tangible and the imagined; grotesque and paradoxical situations that range from satire to poetry and from criticism to positive propositions. Within this space, members of the audience are not simply observers but active participants, living and breathing their own stories through witnessing these encounters. Each mirrors the everyday trials and triumphs of people in our contemporary world as well as echoes voices from our ancient history. The ever-moving 'red thread' is the imagination itself, as it unfolds at the moment of its revelation. It is the essence and a source of continuity that stays constant amidst the ever-changing nature of the piece. Through connecting with this essence, the audience is invited into a captivating world, where the distinctions between black and white fade away and absurdity becomes a powerful instrument for viewing the world from a fresh perspective. Fil Rouge is a unique performance and an event that each time transforms itself and all who experience it.
